The whole Howell clan came out on the 23rd. We celebrated Tyler and Lauren's respective birthdays by getting busy in the dough. We rolled out fresh pasta and Christmas cookies. One of the highlights of having the family in town was Bo's innocent reaction to a floured up kitchen. He was honestly astonished that one might consider making their own frosting. So you can imagine my delight when we mixed our own colors and gently "forced" everyone to participate in the artistry of yogurt (disguised as sugar) cookies. In light of Inglorious Basterds DVD release, Tyler's masterpiece showcased a red swastika. I'm not sure who ate that one! At any rate, Lola flashed her ghetto roots, despite being in a Naturopathic Doctorate program, and we kicked off the holiday's with some good food and a few gifts.
Ashton managed to coax Bo-Bo into some light reading to end the evening.
