More on Four

I can't lie. One of the best things about Ashton's wellness checks is that I get to see her growth in numbers and percentages.  So here is the raw data for all of you who get a kick out of it too. She stalled out in the height spectrum. At two months she had grown 5/12 inches, while this time she only grew one more logging her in at 25 1/2, which is the 85% (Last time she was at the 98%). Maybe she won't play post after all. A tall guard is much more desirable anyway!

Her unofficial weight at three months had been hovering around 15 pounds according to our estimation--that is getting on the scale with her in our arms and then without. I thought her official weight was going to be much more than the scale showed. She is now up to 14lbs, 14 oz. and at the 75%.

She did get my small head (she is at the 30%) which I think might explain why everyone says "Oh, what a big girl you have."  While her body is big, her head is small. Hummm, let's hope it all balances out at some point. It is still to be determined whether or not she has the infamous "Reichner thighs." Hummm.

I had to take another monthly photo of my girl without poppies hand on her head. She can balance on her own bum for a few moments.

We celebrated Ashton's 4th month by preparing for the 6th. Randi and Sydney came over and we harvested a basket of Italian plums and went to work in the kitchen making plum sauce for our girls. They had fun squealing in the kitchen most of the afternoon. We finally managed to get some photos of the "Friday friends" (Ashton goes to play with Sydney every Friday morning) hugging each other in the "birthday" rocker.
