The Corcorans were out of town this week so Ashton got to start the weekend over at Mason's house on Friday. She quickly found out that MJR has much more sophisticated toy apparati than we do here on BellBottom Road. She had all sorts of Dr. Seuss doohickeys to dabble with, as you can see in the first photo. The second one was taken before Ashton settled down for her morning nap. Linsay said she fell asleep looking at her little friend Mason.
On Saturday morning Win made his dad peddle our way on the Olympic Discovery Trail. Ashton had just gotten out of the bath tub and was nice and relaxed--in the perfect mood for a good book. Win choose On the Day You Were Born to read to her, although quite frankly, they didn't do much reading at all.
Ashton looks like Win just told her a nice juicy secret in these photos...maybe they were both just gearing up for the "gentle" hug and kiss, which quickly turned into a head lock like the one Win had Jake in earlier that morning. Needless to say, Laura asked about when to start up mat-rats with the boy. She has a feeling he'll be an all-state wrestler.

We joked that Ashton might go to Homecoming with Mason Rapelje, but she will have her eye on the spring and Senior Ball with Win, as she will only be a sophomore when he is a senior. Gasp.
