We had a few baby swallows nest, hatch and learn to fly in our backyard this summer. Ashton Isadora fell in love at first sight. The morning after they took wing we went out to the nest and she kept pointing at the empty mud carriage while shrugging her shoulders and questioning "Where are they?" It was pretty darn cute. The second photo reminds me of Uncle Bo's Sesame Street "three crows" episode. I just love it. As if Izzi wasn't already a bird person, this summer confirmed it.
