We pressed the orchard after school on Friday with Sarah, Ray and Brennie. Izzi had fun tasting several apples and pears. It was interesting to see which ones she devoured and which ones she scowled at, due to thick bitter skin. Overall, the juice is really quite nice this year. I liked having it for our Halloween party. I didn't think that we would really be able to make that much this year, as the trees just didn't bear fruit like they have in the past, but there seems to be plenty to go around. Some for now, and some for later.
