We finally got another car seat so we can go adventuring (ie collecting) in the truck as a family. Ashton is taking full advantage of it. She loves riding in the truck (although she still spends half the time reading books instead of looking out the window). On this particular day we had a picnic lunch at the "duck park" where she threw small pebbles into the pond, rolled in the grass and ran over the bridge several times before settling into her sandwitch. She had so much fun that she begged to go to the beach for dinner. We couldn't resist either--afterall, that's what summers are for. She rolled in the sand and skipped along drift wood until the sun set on our day and we had to coax her back into the truck.
(I only had the camera for the first part of our 2 mile trip through our neighboorhood.
We're so lucky to live by the bay.) If we have too many days like this I won't be sure how to top 'em.
