Tumbling Class

Ashton went to her first gymnastics class this morning with her buddy Mason. This was Mason's third class, so he showed her the ropes. I was pleased by the nice blance between group activities and individual exploration. She was a little reluctant during warm-ups, but soon found how much fun tumbling could be with all the geometric mats and bouncy floors. The group parachute as the end reminded me of my elementary days. Izzi had no problem getting in the center and being hoisted into the air. One of the best things about this class is that when you sign up you get a punch card--which means you don't have to go every single weekend--you can pick and choose. We'll see if this becomes her new favorite Saturday activity.
