Ashton cut her third bottom tooth a couple weeks ago. Although we thought we'd see the top two first, they still have yet to "break on through to the other side." In the mean time, she is a drooling, chewing, sucking machine. She'll put anything (and everything) in her mouth these days. Tonight she found a red pepper flake on floor and soon found out that she's not ready to challege Poppie in a "heat" contest yet.Last weekend at Jake's students art opening we dolled her up in a summer dress to show off our sweet little girl and she spent her time in the spotlight demonstrating how effective she is at sucking four fingers at once. She can even do this little twist move and get her thumb in on the action--just to change things up. Ahhh, it's all fun and games until she hits a nerve and I can see how painful it all really must be. You'll understand when you get to the last photos posted on this entry.
