Mike and Roz patio party

Mike and Rosalind had a fun party to break in the new fabulous patio. There were a ton of folks there, but Izzi was more interested in eating her peas and tofu than socializing so much. I was impressed how long she left her shades on. She's getting the hang of this summer thing (lots of sunscreen, hats, and glasses) pretty quickly. Everyone called her a true Northwest baby because of the cute little summer dress with a heavy sweater on top. Yeah. It was a gorgeous day, but as soon as the sun started to go down the wind picked up. Remember that as y'all pack for the lavender festival.

Below you'll see pics of Poppie painting "the house that Jake built." Jake would prefer that it be called our "tree house" as we have plans to paint a giant tree inside and it is the closest thing to a treehouse we'll probably ever have on this property. I guess I can go with that.
