Ashton had a lot of fun when I pulled out the stocking bin this year. She took the stocking part literally, and wore them as elf slippers around the house. Later they became sleeping bags for her animals.
She also really enjoyed dressing the tree. Unfortunately, most of the ornaments ended up at the bottom of the tree until I stepped in to help spread the love around.
Ta da! Here she is showing off her new humming bird jammies that Aunt Nan made in front of her beloved Christmas masterpiece.
I'm not sure exactly when it started, but it has become one of Ashton's favorite things to do now. She takes the tree skirt off the tree and insists on wearing it as a princess skirt. She then spends the morning, afternoon and evening twirling around the house.
