Wrapping & Unwrapping

One of Ashton's favorite things to do is sneak a bunch of Kleenex and use it as "blankies" for her animals. This afternoon she had an alternative plan for the tissue. Instead of tucking all her animals in for naptime, she wrapped them up and gently placed them under the tree....."for later".
When Izzi woke up from her nap she immediately put her Tinkerbell outfit on, just as the doorbell rang with a package from G-mum. Glamma sent her a little special pre-get-together gift. You can see Ashton's delight when she saw the Tinkerbell wrapping.

Even better was the Tinkerbell Christmas tree ornament inside. When I told her it was for the tree she promptly responded, "No it's not. There's no hook." She preferred a figurine to take "camping". She played with it all night long.

We talked about our up-coming flight to Mexico and how G-mum and Auntie A work for the airline as she unwrapped the Alaska airplane. She was quick to tell Tinkerbell "all aboard" and flew around the house. (see below)
When Poppie got home and saw the pre-Christmas paper strewn about and the card on the table he asked Izzi what the card said. Izzi replied "G-mum loves me very much."
