Our Valentine's Day magnolia tree has started to bloom. Ashton did really well smelling the flowers and saying, "Pretty flowers mama. Pretty," for about two minutes before picking some of the petals. I tried to explain that if she picks the buds we won't get any flowers, but rationalizing with a nearly-two-year-old is like making a cat walk on a leash. We tried it with Teanaway too, and in both cases, it simply doesn't work.
(Looks like we need to remove the tag now, eh?)
