"Mousie"

Ashton has a new best friend--move over baby, "mousie" is the next best thing. She took her buddy outside and taught her how to throw rocks and smell the flowers. I love this new level of pretend. My toddler has become a little girl overnight. When tucking her in I asked, "Izzi did you use your imagination today?" She replied, "Yeah. My mag- i- neh- shun." (My crows feet got a little deeper.)

At the end of the day, after all the play with mousie, we found a snail that usurped all the power. While Izzi was napping I found her fragile friend delicately placed at the foot of her crawl tunnel. Jake and I put the poor snail back outside.
