Last night we were running a little late for dinner and so decided to just do something quick-n-easy for dinner (translation: frozen pizza). Though it is not the best nutritious option, it is one Izzi most certainly is fond of. She saw the pizza come out of the freezer and yelled "Pizza time!" And then did her little dance, followed by her downward dog peek-a-boo move. We turned the wait time into "jammie time," but the pizza just wouldn't cook fast enough for our hungry little girl. When she heard the oven ding, indicating it was ready to cook at the right temperature she ran into the kitchen and proclaimed, "Pizza done." We explained the situation and Ms. Isadora said, "Okay, wait," while crossing her arms and smiling. We told her it was going to be a long wait and we appreciated her patience. Still she stood, swinging her folded arms back and forth. After a minute or two her patience worked the proximity scene. She thought if she moved closer to Poppie she could quicken the cooking--not so. You can see she eventually wore down to lounge lizard hug while waiting for her Friday night dinner.
