Sequim High School has this beautiful little fundraiser for the senior class called flocking. On Monday morning as I was pulling out of the garage and Ashton was waving goodbye to Poppie she started yelling "FlaMino Mama." Confused I turned my head and saw the flock of five pink flamingos proudly perched on our lawn. The randsom note was signed, with much love, "Mercurial Cadre III." Our daughter quickly proceeded to mount the pink birds and cry "geeup!" After she rode them, she was kind enough to give each of them a quick serving of grass ("here you go, Flamino"). Although the plastic figures' removal cost us 25$, it was worth the penance to have the flock grace us. The experience saved us money going to the game farm, and I am certain the buffalo would not have been as amiable with a two-year old passenger.
