Mila Eve Swanson

Mila Eve Swanson arrived on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 6:38pm. She weighed 7lbs10oz and was 20" long. I'm so proud of Amy for delivering her naturally. She had some pitocin to make it happen, turned Ms. Mila from the sunnyside up position and managed it all. Good job mama! 

Mila was born on her namesake's birthday (Great Grannie Ludmila). Her middle name comes the Howell side (Great-Great Grannie, and Great-Great Auntie-Grannie Eva). We're so happy she is here!

Lookin' for the party already....just like her mama. "It's my birthday."

This was her first bath at the hospital. Amy and Bo were kind enough to let us all witness her first hours of life. The nurse let Lauren, our Howell Doctor in training, listen to her heartbeat.

Ashton had to get on the phone (like her G-mum and Aunties) and tell everyone how much hair Mila has, and how it looks just like her daddy Bo's mighty swirl.
