Over Labor Day weekend Mike and Rosalind had to hustle down to Mexico for hurricane clean up which meant that we got to borrow the camper.  We spent Friday night on the SolDuc River.  Poppy got up and fished at the hatchery with no luck--I guess the salmon had something else on their minds. At any rate, it was neat to see them stacked up.

Then we headed out to Neah Bay, where the weather was gorgeous. Ashton and I walked on the beach and through the muddy bog singing songs and celebrating the last weekend of summer while JakeBob eyed the in and out flowing tides for a nice brain food harvest. Unfortunately, we won't be stocking the freezer this time, but another run will be coming in soon.  All said and done, it has been so much fun to use the camper and take our wee one out. I'm so glad that she delights in the outdoors as we do.
