Ashton has never woken up crying in the middle of the night. She often wakes up rooting hard, and maybe even letting out one of her cute petite grunts, but she never cries (knock on wood...yet). This morning brought out a new kind of vocalization for my darling daughter. She woke up around 4 am and had to tell us all about her dreams. She rambled on for a good hour exploring new sounds and vibrations while Jake and I laughed and smiled at the baby in between us. Sometimes you can see her working so hard to make a new sound. She concentrates as her lips quiver to make the new shape. She leaves me in awe daily.
Just before we left the house for school she wanted to show off how she can stand now. She's in the outfit that Aunt Auddie gave her with the fun little caterpillar inching around her waist. She's just so cute I can't get enough!
