G-Mum & John's POOL in DFW

We flew into DFW, Texas late on Friday night, and by Saturday Ashton had a new life jacket swimsuit to bob around in. She quickly became comfortable in the warm pool and had no qualms about jumping off ledges and dog paddling around with her aunties, G-Mum, John and his boys (Matthew and James). By the end of the week Ms. Isadora thought she could swim without the special suit. Her bravery kept me on the edge of my seat.
Audrey read the whole Edward and Bella vampire series while we were there. Considering the fact that each book hovers under 1000 pages, you can estimate how comfortable she was floating around with her arms at a 90 degree angle. She inspired Lauren to do the same.
Above you'll see James Sayers, the jokester. He enjoyed swimming around with a bucket on his head. I made my sister take the plunge to the bottom to see what excited him so, but she said it just made her ears ring. Ahh, to be 11 and so peculiar again.
In the photo below Matthew Sayers flashes a rare smile. I had to take the photo when he wasn't aware of the lense. He's a bit more shy, but just as entertaining as his younger brother.
Here John is doing one of his many tricks off the hot tub wall. G-mum threw the ball and her BF headed it before flipping into the water. It envoked a lot of oohs and ahhhs. I think they must practice this one every night after work. I know I would if I lived in the Texas heat.
It was so warm that Amy even brought Mila in the pool to cool down.
Day or night, the pool was our delight on the Texas tour for six days before heading to Austin.
