Izzi-isms

This summer we started writing down a few of Ashton's funny quips. They're always better in context, but maybe you'll get to laugh at one or two.

on being two...(sing to the tune of the hokie pokie)
      "you put this one finger down,
        you put the other finger down....
        and you get
               two years old.
               two years old."

on friendship....
       "I miss Sydney right now!"

on potty training....
       "I wanna poop like Poppie."
Me: What does that mean darlin'?
        "Standing up."
Me: Tricky. We're girls. We get to sit down (unless we're in a public restroom. Then you must squat.)

       To Poppie: "We're girls. We get to sit down and you have to stand."

Jellybeans were a nice incentive for awhile, but they lost their power. Ashton let us know what her real priority was when she said this after letting a little turd loose in the toilet:
       "I just pooped for the Game Farm!"

Our all time favorite, and unfortunately a Howell inside joke is when she was playing with her peoples and she started yelling with great excitement: "Double rainbow. Double rainbow!" This catch-phrase has become one of her favorites.
