Brian, Helen, Henry, Reid and Otis came up from Corvallis for our last week of summer adventuring. Spending several days together made me realize how much I miss them. Helen is a role model mom and her children are perfect little angels (aren't they all?). Both
Herny and Reid love their balls and sticks (
heeheehee). They managed to make every scene sporty and fun, whether charging the beach with swords in hand, fishing on the bank of Lake Crescent or preparing to swim with Otis. Henry was very gentle with Ashton. He sang songs to her in the car and snuggled with her during our
picnic at the beach. He is a thoughtful older brother and friend. Before leaving he asked, "When will I get to see Ashton again? How old will she be next time?" It looks like the next time we see the whole crew will be Gold Rush 2009 next May the weekend before
Izzi turns one.
